Stayed here before and again this time last week for one night - a quiet night here - great location for Bridgewater Hall - there`s a great pub next door called the Britons Protection - pity my rate didn`t incude breakfast - 10 mins walk from picadilly station.

We stayed at Jurys Inn for just the one night as we were watching a show at the Apollo and we were very impressed with the quality for the price we paid (£39 Winter Special).

The hotel was spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable. It's not far from anything- we paid £4.10 in a taxi to the O2 Apollo and were very close to Oxford Road, M.E.N and the Arndale. We travelled by train and got off at Oxford Road- just a 5 minute walk away.

The room was great- everything you would expect with a comfortable bed, flat screen TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities, plenty of luggage and wardrobe space and toiletries.

The breakfast was included and was excellent- all hot with plenty of choice. There were also cereals and fruit.

We would definitely stay here again if staying in Manchester.

Me and my wife had a weekend away at this hotel, as last minute thing. The cost was a little on the high side, considering it is only a three star, but I guess with the central location in Manchester you can live with it.

The hotel itself is based on a main road, so parking up to unload the cases was a little precarious, but there was a small area to pull in opposite the entrance. There is an NCP car parking about two traffic lights prior, which walking time was approx 3 minutes. Very easy to find, plus the hotel knock 10%. For two nights it cost us £31.00 to park.

Sadly we did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment on the food.

The room itsself was clean and a decent size, although in our room we had one single bed and a double bed, which, being used to king sized, was a little difficult to get used to!

The only minor thing was the plug for the bath had come off the chain, but nothing to cry about.

Location wise was very good, with restaurants and bars all being within a good 10 minute walk radius.

Overall for a three star hotel it was very good. Not quite 4 star, but would stay again if Marriott was not available.

Hotel is in a great location for Bridgewater Hall and easy to walk into the city centre, the rooms are clean and modern and staff were helpful. Breakfast was included in the price and was really good.

My only negative (but is quite an important one!) the bed was so uncomfortable, I can usually sleep anywhere but not this time, the mattress was lumpy and sleep was impossible!
