Although some of the older rooms could do we a re-vamp, The Hotel itself is great, and I can say that we some experience as back in 2005 - 2008 we used to stay at Bewleys 2 or 3 nights per week. I had not stayed for a while but was pleased to see that some of the staff were still the same, Including Jane who works on reception. UNFORTUNATELY I cant say the same for her colleague, a young man named Peter or Paul. I am convinced that the part this guy loves about his job the most is to be able to say NO to any request or just be as unhelpful as possible. When coming across someone like this I always wonder why they chose the hospitality industry if they cant even offer a smile when having to say no to a guest. (Come on Bewleys, this guy has been with you for years, dont tell me you have not noticed how miserable her is. (He was on the early shift on February 8th)
I had arrived from the US with no cash, I wanted to print a document and needed Cash to pay for the only public printer they had in the building and was told that they did not have a cash machine (but I could walk to the next hotel or into the airport) I could not get cash back with a purchase or get cash on my room. Come on Bewleys, what century are you in!
The airport transfers are great, the food is reasonable and not too expensive. Everywhere is to a clean standard. You do some much that's good why let it be ruined!
