This has the feel of a place which could do with a makeover and some investment. A hotel without wifi cannot expect to get business travellers and with the twitter generation addicted to communication, there will not be many happy teenagers either.
The rooms and service are fine, not out of the ordinary, but adequate for general needs. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Everything seemed slightly worn, whether it was the remote control with the loose battery lid or the slightly cramped wardrobe (and there was only one of me!).
There is a car park and building site across the road - when it is finished the location will improve. By then the owners might have put a bit of money in so that the hotel maximises it's potential.
