We booked a superior room and were shocked to get to our room to find it was so small that the only place to leave your bags was in front of the door. Having climbed 2 flights of stairs with suitcases and no offer of help, we were too exhausted to ask for a proper superior room.
You couldn't get round the bed without bumping your head and the noise from the street was not conducive to a good nights sleep.
The bathroom was so small that there was no room for a bath, only a shower and the towels were very thin. The so called Toiletries were screwed to the wall.
The pillows needed replacing - they were very lumpy.
Car parking is also an issue as there are not enough spaces in the car park. You have to park on the street outside and then get up the next morning by 8am to put a parking ticket on your car.
To be charged £145 for such a miserable room in Doncaster was surprising to say the least. London maybe!
