“ok hotel but check the reservation VERY carefully”

i've used ibis for years and generally they're ok hotels but once ripped off never again! i was in the online booking system and between booking and paying they put the price up 20%!! despite being already in their system they would not honour the booking!! They did very well - for this they have lost a long term customer - now its holiday inn all the way
So if you book with them check what your paying very carefully indeed

Room Tip: be very carefull or your pay more than you think

“As good the second time”

Stayed one saturday evening again, the staff are welcoming, the rooms clean and functional.The breakfast was fab and plenty of it. It does what it says, a nice place to stay, quiet, and convenient for travel. The noise at the back of the hotel was from the motorway and it was background, better to stay on front where car park is. Reasonable prices and good value

The hotel is well situated adjacent to the M6 and the M55 and perfect if you need to be in the Preston / Blackpool area of Lancashire. The hotel is smart, modern and clean and the staff are very friendly and helpfull. Negatives: if your room is on the M55 side of the hotel the noise from the motorway precludes opening the windows for fresh air; the cafe / bar is over priced with a poor selection of beers and food that only just reaches an acceptable level.
