I stayed here for two nights in January. First impressions of the hotel are clean, nice rooms and friendly staff.
The bathroom is excellent, lovely towels and one of the most powerful showers I have found in a hotel (and i stay in alot!).
I had a 'Business Class' room which i believe are slightly larger than standard rooms and also had Nespresso machine etc. On the posters in the hotel it also claims 'Welcome Drink' and 'Chocolate Plate' on arrival, but these werent provided.
I didnt have dinner in the restaurant so cant comment on that, but I did experience Breakfast, which was an experience.
The selection wasnt great. On the first morning I had to tick what I wanted from a list (i presume the hotel was quiet!) and on the second morning it was buffet style but the eggs etc werent fresh (very hard fried eggs etc). The coffee was lovely.
I also noticed a comment on here regarding the chinese lady at Breakfast; I think the reviewer must have been mistaken as her english was very good and she was extremely friendly and welcoming, a credit to the hotel.
When i returned to my room on my middle day after a long day in London, I noticed that the housekeeper hadnt washed the cups and left them at the side of the bed, no new toiletries and the towel i had used that morning was still on the floor in the bedroom. Not major things, just things that should have been done, but didnt have a massive negative on my stay.
I would say the hotel is good value for what it charges. It is perfect for visiting London as the train station is just 2 minutes walk with trains every few minutes into Euston (15 minutes journey!). Clean rooms, friendly staff and good location, just need to improve on the breakfast!

Thanks for the review and I am happy to see overall it was on the positive side! I am just back form leave so will take up the cleanliness issues with my HK team as I assure you this is not how we operate. Our breakfast buffet normally gets great comments and I am sorry to see we dropped the ball this time - it won't happen on your next visit.
