Having stayed here many many times as the link into london is great, trains all the time and late into the night for getting back, Staff have been superb on every trip including one last year bringing me an brollie from home as i was there all week and forgot mine, Rooms are basic travelodge style and plenty of space for the two of us to spread out, Room has always been clean and of the typical standard i expect from travelodge, clean and fresh bedding and towels. Yes there is some noise but it does say this on the website, people should read that before they travel. Very close to the little train stop at stone crossing so hand for a quick trip into london. There isnt a huge amount round this hotel but u are not far from several shopping centers and london is around 30ish mins away. all in all u get what you pay for!!!

Stayed for just one night - first Travelodge experience but was basically fine. Reception staff were polite and cheerful, hotel was right next to railway line but the noise was honestly not a problem. The corridor smelt very musty and damp but the room was fine, although I suspect a Dyson could have got a lot of stuff out of the carpet! The bathroom was adequate, though the floor needed a good scrub. The linens and towels, however, were spotless. All that said, I paid just £19 so I got more than my money's worth. I wouldn't choose this hotel for an extended stay but for an overnight it was fine.

This was the first time i have stayed in a Travelodge. I was expecting a average room, similar to the ones you would see in Premier Inn. I was wrong.

As we arrived we were greeted by some very polite members of staff who were very easy to talk to.

On first arrival the room seemed fairly descent. But then i realized that we only had a king size between the four of us, and what i thought was a sofa was actually two beds stacked on top of each other.

After making up each of the beds we inspected how clean the room was. The seat was filthy, the bathroom was dirty, there was a kitkat wrapper underneath one of the beds and we had two hand towels. When we turned the lights on we could see hand marks on the walls from previous people.

The beds were comfortable though, and apart from the trains which past meters from our window every hour, I have a good nights sleep.

We were hoping to have a restaurant around the corner where we could have a meal or two like most hotels have. The closest restaurant to us was Burger King.

Although the members of staff were lovely, I will not be coming back here again.

I have stayed in a few Travelodges in recent times, and I always seem to find them so similar........and so-so.

The Dartford one was no exception. Same room layout, style and decor as every other Travelodge you'll enter, the same pretty good cleanliness I've experienced in others. All the usual amenities also; TV, ensuite bathroom (bath and shower), clothing iron available from reception. Next door is a Burger King, a little further away is an ASDA.

The only negative I experienced here, that I have not at other Travelodges, was the seemingly non exist staff presence. There never seemed to be a staff member at the reception, meaning I had to constantly ring an attention buzzer and wait a few minutes for someone.

Overall, it's what you receive from other Travelodges; average, and what you pay for: basic. I would recommend it for a nights stay or short break.
