Attended as a party of 6 and was really looking forward to the meal having viewed the website and read a number of previous reviews. The food was excellent, if a little pricey (but you only get what you pay for). Despite previous reviews we found the waiting staff to be friendly and attentive. Our main problem was where we were seated and the attitude of the owners when it was mentioned. We were placed in a window bench seat with three other chairs and a gate leg table. The table offered no where for us to place our legs without knocking the supports for the flaps or feeding legs through the narrow centre support which all proved uncomfortable. After the main course 3 of us decided to move to a comfortable seating area whilst the other three had dessert. We didn't intend to complain but having been asked why we had moved we explained, it was then that the attitude towards us seemed to change. My friend was talking to the manager when, as he noticed someone else leaving, he just turned around and walked away, leaving her in mid sentence. When we commented on this, jokingly between ourselves, we then started getting dirty looks. This was a shame as I would have quite happily gone back before this, but unlikely now. If you are going to ask for feedback then at least be prepared to accept it gracefully.
