“Excellent staff and value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

24 Hour reception was a brilliant facility. Reception staff were very polite and nothing was too much trouble. Even a cleaner was more than happy to help me when I couldn't get the room key to work.

Knowing Milton Keynes I know there can be some rougher areas but all efforts were made to keep security to a maximum even taking down my car details.

The room was a lot bigger than I expected and the television was flat screen with a good picture. There was a separate toilet and shower not a problem for me but it might not be to everyone's taste. A floor length mirror with rails for clothes plus 3 good size wardrobes.

Certain dishes off the room service menu were available 24/7

A small drive outside of the main centre of Milton Keynes but the taxi company front desk suggest are most helpful. They send a text message when the taxi has been dispatched and what make and model the car is along with the registration, so it can be identified even at peak times in the city centre.

Good value for money as it was under £50, clean and a good customer service!

“Best hotel in Milton Keynes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012 via mobile

The restaurant was great. The food was of a high standard and the service was faultless. I forgot to put out my breakfast order the night before, and when I called them in the morning they still delivered it. The room was big and very clean. My only negative feedback was the tv channel choice

“Fantastic Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

The hotel is located in the city, but not downtown. It is difficult to go out without a car as there is not much around.

All the rooms I stayed in were similar. The rooms are vast with a comfortable bed and a sofa that can be used as a bed for children. The toilet is separated from the bathroom and has a cold atmosphere. The rooms are generally cleaned, but the toilet could be cleaner.

The soaps are not changed/refilled everyday. It is quite annoying. I even had an experience where I came back and the room was not cleaned at all.

Some guests leave empty dishes on the floor at the step of their doors after eating their room service. I find that very rude.

The breakfast buffet is fantastic for English standards. The dinner is also excellent. After few days of English pub food, I was relief to finally eat a decent meal.

The pool is fantastic with wet & dry saunas. I was alone most of the time.

This hotel is often completely booked as Milton Keynes is an industrial city with many F1 teams around. The price is rather high. For the breakfast alone, I recommend this hotel.
