This has to be the scruffiest place I have stayed, the whole bathroom was browm with dirt and mould, right up the walls. No excuse as I cleaned some off with a bit of soap and toilet roll so it just needs sa decent clean.
No plugs on the bath or sink, not even a single shampoo and to top it all even the so cheap plastic rinse cup was wet on the inside having been used. YUK!!

The paint on the bedroom was splattered where someone had been throwing small balls of wet toilet roll to it to make them stick the pillows were a thick as tissue paper. I have to say the bedding was clean and well made and the staff very friendly and helpful as they could be even though they seemed to know they are fighting a losing battle with the condition of the rooms.

What a hell hole this place is! I read the reviews after I had booked this hovel and thought it can't be as bad as people make out..how wrong was I as this is the most dirtiest and shabiest place I've stayed in, there's no excuse in letting rooms with shabby carpets, a grubby quilt, a door that's bashed in with a few dints in the wall to match! my shed is cosier than this place! This place has not been touched since the day it was built.....

it has a bed, a tv, a shower and hot drink making facilities, but that is the extent of the facilities that you'll use.
The rooms are shabby, lots of paint scrapes and fakes, heat stains over the in room radiator, and bathroom has mouldy silicone seal.

There is no shampoo, so bring your own or buy some from the machine downstairs (if it's got any in stock, but there is a sainsbury's 5 mins away)
There is no social /communal area but this is common to most travelodge.

I stayed here for two nights, and unfortunately will be back next month, but the plastic matress protector, the noise and the poor conditions will no doubt ensure that I will struggle to gain more than 6 hours sleep here.

In the end, its cheep, warm, and not outside, but unless you're desperate or trying to save a lot of money, don't stay here and petition travelodge to make repairs and upgrades

Bed was at an angle and I had to sleep the other way around.

Light and fans did not work and the paintwork was grotty.

Was woken at 6.00 am by the bin men outside my room.
