We spent a week visiting family in the UK, and we spent one night here, close to Bolton. Stupidly, I left the SatNav behind and for some reason headed to the Reebok Premier Inn only to find we were booked at the Beehive. Once again, great staff in both places, very helpful and friendly. The room was very much corporate Premier Inn, but everything worked and was clean. We have noticed the differences between the newer and the older properties, but the beds are comfortable and the bathroom clean with loads of hot water. The approach to the pub from the roundabout is slightly suicidal if you aren't familiar with the territory, the car park is tucked away around the back.

Greeted and given keys, info etc in a friendly manner. Then upstairs to my room, usual Premier-Inn...... Spotless and immaculate, bathroom perfectly clean and room was a great size.

There a pub next door (as usual!) where I had a couple of drinks, friendly locals and a good atmosphere. This is where you go for your "eat as much as you like" breakfast but on the downside it's NOT a buffet, your order gets taken but was made aware you could get more, but waiter never came back near us after we got our first lot. Far better value is a 2min drive up to Tesco/Asda for far better value breakfast, theres also Mcdonalds etc in the shopping area behind Reebok including cinema and loads of other eateries (Nandos etc).

Hotel and staff were excellent, but when I was checking out there was a woman complaining "She had been up from 2am-4am because of the noise", well I never heard a thing and slept like a log...... must be in it for the free night! lol

Would go back again if in the area, the further you book in advance the cheaper the room!

If you book in at this place, make sure you let them know if you're mobility impaired. I didn't; and had been placed in a room on the higher floor of a building which has no lift. [Isn't that against the Disability Discrimination Act?]

As for The Beehive, the least said the better! Whitbread's must really be struggling if they can't afford to put more staff in the restaurant. We were there @ 8.00 pm one Friday; if they had had a sudden influx of people wanting a meal, God knows how they'd have coped.

The staff were open and friendly, the bedroom quiet and comfortable. Price was more than 3 times the "from" price advertised - but acceptable.
Bathroom adequate and clean but the shower less than perfect.
Can reccomend highly to buisness traveller who wants a quiet restful night.
