We called to book our room well in advance, and called twice more to confirm it.

When we arrived they didn't have any record of our booking and didn't care. We were assured this has never happened before, yet the very same happened to the people who ended up queueing behind us.

We were left with nowhere to stay at 8.30pm on a Sunday night. We had to call around, arrange a taxi, get a hotel room at double what we were going to pay here and organise and pay for it ourselves.

We asked the hotel to call us with an explanation (as the gentleman at reception claimed no responsibility). We haven't heard from them. I double checked with the gentleman at reception that they would call us, he (usefully) informed me that he wasn't a child.
Would NOT recommend.

Room clean but that is the only positive. Food and service for what they consider breakfast was attroocious. Lots of other faults and problems so wrote to complain. They are so concerend about their customers I have not received a reply of any kind.
If you unfortunate enough to be staying here - eat out.

Looks nice from the outside, but the rooms are really horrible. someone else's review said that the rooms look like prison cells - which i have to agree with. However, the same person also said they were clean, which i categorically do not agree with. a sticky label fell on the floor and when i picked it up it was covered in black hairs! The carpet is dark red which hides most of the dirt! the wardrobe has no doors on it, the table hasnt been cleaned properly and the walls and general decor are quite traumatising. this is our first night, and we are making plans to try to only be here when we need to sleep.

We stayed for two nights in a gap between work. Cheapest hotel in area on laterooms at £39 a night so weren't expecting a lot but were very pleasantly surprised. Very friendly and helpful staff, particularly the lady on reception. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious with satellite TV and kettle. Comfortable lounge with free wifi. Great location at top of Crawley high street with many restaurants. Good parking at back, CCTV monitored. Best thing was the excellent full English breakfast at £3.00. Where else will you find that these days? Didn't try the Indian restaurant in the hotel but will on our next visit.
