“Good pre-flight accommodation and parking”

Perfectly adequate hotel accommodation and pleasant, efficient check-in/out. £75 bought us the room and parking for a week in the onsite multistorey car park (no need to hand your keys in). Ibis transfer to the airport was £3/person and the bus return from the airport was £3.20/person. On our return we phoned the hotel to get the minibus to collect us, but we were told to get the public bus which was OK, but took about 30 mins from South Terminal.

I will use this hotel again if prices remain low.

“Fantastic stay”

“Handy and reasonably priced”

I choose this hotel over the others due to it's price - £39.90 which is a bargain as I would only be there for 6 hours. I used the airport's hotel bus to get to the Ibis - 20 mins ride via other hotels which is £3.20.

Check in was swift so within 5 mins, I was in my room on the 2nd floor. The room was adequate for my needs with a large bathroom. It's the first time I've seen a disabled bathroom in a hotel which would be great for my aunt should she need to stop by. I didn't like the plastic walls and floors as it buckles when you move and didn't feel glued down.

As it was the time when we had extreme temperatures, I used the heater to warm the room up but didn't feel that it made much difference and had to turn it off when I went to sleep as it was too noisy to sleep with it on.

All in, I would recommend this hotel if you had an early flight and didn't want the stress of having to commute in from London. It is reasonably priced and comfortable enough.
