Difficult to find, no signs and I wonder why no directional signs are found anywhere. Room was clean , tidy and pleasant. Poor breakfast and expensive internet service . Hotel good and convenient for the airport. Service was good. Yes, I would stay here again but only for an overnight stay due to location with nothing around.. No restaurant in the hotel but enjoyed a nice dinner just outside at "The Harvester" which was better than I expected.

Stayed here for one night prior to our flight from Gatwick. Free parking and plenty of spaces. Very smart reception area with well-dressed, polite and helpful staff. The rooms standards very excellent. Very clean, adequate size, comfy bed, good heating, small bathroom with shower (no bath) which was a little disappointing, however, i'm sure if i had realized beforehand, i could have requested a room with a bath, but that does not distract from the high standards. Another bonus was the amount of programmes available on the TV.

Harvester next door was excellent for dinner. Breakfast at the hotel was perfectly acceptable.

Have used Travelodge in the past, however, will now change to HI Express as their standards are much higher.

For an overnight stay, this is really ideal. Fine free-parking on site...Although built on a 'squarial' so traffic circulates around the hotel all night, and there's a busy pub-restaurant on site, it really is very quiet. Maybe I was lucky, but the room size was exactly as expected for H.I.Exp. Early alarm call came exactly on time. Breakfast was the usual H.I.Exp fare - sausages + scrambled eggs (but never any bacon :( ) plus plenty of cereals, pastries, toast, etc.

All in all, exactly what was expected for this chain. And for pre-booking at less than £45.00, a real bargain.
