We chose to hold our wedding reception at the Hilton on the weekend of 4th February 2012 and our experience was purely faultless. The events team spent weeks in communication with my now-husband (Ooh! First time I've called him that!), ensuring that everything was planned perfectly with a military precision to truly make our special day most magical.
The attention to detail that the staff offered was so incredibly thoughtful and appreciated. At no point did we feel like "just another wedding" - everything really was bespoke to our requirements and needs.
Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff (from needing a sewing kit to fix my dress to needing parcel tape for the courier) and they were on hand at all hours to cater to our every need. The food was fantastic and our guests were really impressed with the quality.
I think the part I appreciated most was when we left the bar at 3am to retire to bed, on entering our bedroom we found that the staff had brought up all our flower displays and redisplayed them in the bedroom, as well as bringing up and displaying our cards and gifts, the disposable cameras we'd had on tables over dinner and my laptop that had been showing photos all evening. It meant that I could completely relax, knowing everything had been taken care of and was safe in our room. The champagne, fruit platter, swan-towels and heart petals were also really thoughtful.
On my wedding day I'd had a lot of products used in my hair so I was really cross with myself on the Sunday morning when I realised I'd left my salon-branded shampoo and conditioner at home. I need not have worried, however, as the toiletries provided by the Hilton are the best quality toiletries I've ever seen in a hotel and they made my hair feel fabulous. A really perfect ending to the weekend!
I really cannot recommend this Hilton more highly for a wonderful wedding weekend. Thank you to everyone who helped make it so special.
