Good location, clean if simple and basic rooms, noisy if you're at the front of the house. Good breakfast,bit pricey for such basic accommodation.

We had an excellent weekend at Murray House celebrating our wedding anniversary.
Everything was of an excellent standard. The rooms were equiped with everything that you could wish for. The staff were all extreamly freindly, helpful and accomodating - they could not do enough for you! Breakfast was very tasty, hot and well presented with a good selection and local produce used.
We've already booked our next weekend in December for a spot of Xmas shopping!

My wife and I stay in Murray House twice a year whilst on business - rooms, breakfasts and service all excellent. Handy location for visiting the International Exhibition Centre and Harrogate town centre. Lovely family run B&B.

The Murray House is in a great location just a few minutes stroll from a great range of restraunts and a further couple of minutes stroll to the town centre. The guest house itself was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was substantial and a great start to the day.Parking was on the road outside the guest house which was free overnight, but through the day you needed a disc to park which was provided by the guest house, and we used as it is so close to the town centre you don't need to take the car and it saves you looking for a parking space in town.Harrogate is a great town to visit with plenty to do, we tried the turkish baths on the Friday evening and found it to be a very nice experience (we were advised if you wish to do this on a saturday it is best to book ahead as it gets very busy).May we also reccomend Vivido Italian restraunt evrything about the place was1st class from the decor to the sevice to the food.If you were to visit Harrogate I would say that Murray house gives decent value for the money
