My wife and I stay in Murray House twice a year whilst on business - rooms, breakfasts and service all excellent. Handy location for visiting the International Exhibition Centre and Harrogate town centre. Lovely family run B&B.

The Murray House is in a great location just a few minutes stroll from a great range of restraunts and a further couple of minutes stroll to the town centre. The guest house itself was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was substantial and a great start to the day.Parking was on the road outside the guest house which was free overnight, but through the day you needed a disc to park which was provided by the guest house, and we used as it is so close to the town centre you don't need to take the car and it saves you looking for a parking space in town.Harrogate is a great town to visit with plenty to do, we tried the turkish baths on the Friday evening and found it to be a very nice experience (we were advised if you wish to do this on a saturday it is best to book ahead as it gets very busy).May we also reccomend Vivido Italian restraunt evrything about the place was1st class from the decor to the sevice to the food.If you were to visit Harrogate I would say that Murray house gives decent value for the money

my wife and i stayed for 2nts at murray house guest house the food was excellent and the room was spotless location was good just about 5mis walk from shops and tracey was very friendly if we were in that area again would definetly stay with them again

This family run B&B offers a warm welcome and is within easy walking distance of Harrogate city centre.
My HUGE rucksack was carried up several flights of stairs without complaint by Neil.
Our room at the top of the house was light and airy, immaculately clean with fresh white bedding and a plumply inviting mattress that made me want to sleep immediately! The ensuite bathroom was small and sparkling with an excellent shower.
Breakfast was cooked to order with fresh ingredients - I had the veggie full English and my husband had the meat version and we thoroughly enjoyed them.
During our two night stay we needed a bottle opener, taxis, safe storage for a motorbike and a pair of washing up gloves - Tracie provide them all!
Tracie and Neil demonstrate a good eye for detail, a determination to give the customer good value for money. I thoroughtly recommend Murray House and will be hoping they have a room next time I come to Harrogate.
