“dissapointing in many ways”

I took my mum to this holtel for 2 nights as a birthday treat. At £115 for a luxury room i expected a great deal more. The hotel is now very shabby; curtains are hanging off the pelmets, light bulbs need replacing and dust lies on the upholstery. This hotel is in desparate need of a make over. The location and parking is great, the breakfast good and coffee excelent. The owner is very friendly but overall we will not return to this establishment.

“Excellent hotel, fantastic service”

Nothing but perfect; friendly staff, beautiful room, excellent price, great location. Couldn't recommend higher, especially if you're visiting Harrogate international conference centre which is right round the corner.

The Ruskin Hotel is a small b&b in Swan Road Harrogate. It is very handy for the town centre and the Conference Centre. There are only 7 rooms, singlke and doubles. Each is complete with all the trimmings, tea and coffee, biscuits and snacks, fluffy towels, hot water bottle. It is clean, the owners are helpful, there is parking off road. The breakfasts are from a good selection of Yorkshire local produce and all cooked to order, so expect a short delay. I stayed on business but would go again for a short break.
