I stayed in a single room which was small but cosy. The bedroom had everything in it that you need but was small. The bathroom was quite large with heated towel rail and a shower over the bath. I had a good view from the bedroom window with a nice chair to sit on. The only problem was the bed it was very lumpy and my back was bad the next day.

The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. I did get parked up outside the hotel you just have to go early.

I know that some people have mentioned the hotel needs updating and yes it is worn around the edges in places but my room was nicely decorated with curtains to match and the staff were lovely.

You need to remember that this is a 3 star hotel and is a work in progress. I am sure that it will be updated to a very good standard in time.

I can't comment on the food as I did not eat in the hotel.

Have stayed in the Yorshire Hotel on a number of occasions. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Yes some of the rooms do need updating but most are very spacious with large comfortable beds. The rooms are warm and there is always hot water even when fully booked. Lovely views of the immaculately kept flower beds at the front of the hotel and across from the famous Betty's tea rooms. This hotel is in one of the best locations for bars and restaurants. You can't beat the Yorkshire Hotel for value for money so wil keep coming back. One slight minus, breakfast could have been hotter.

What a pleasant and wonderful hotel to stay right in the town, close to all amenities. Warm and friendly, nothing too much trouble, our room was spacious, clean, warm and good tea and coffee facilities. Shower lovely and hot, clean towels and sheets every day. Breakfast tasty, hot and service spot on. After a lovely weekend with my family in Feb, despite the heavy snowfall, i would definately recommend and rate this hotel as very good value for money. Would return time and time again, thankyou to all the staff at The Yorkshire Hotel, a wonderful time enjoyed by us all. Mrs Carol Thomas.

We have just spent 2 nights, 3 days at the Yorkshire Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
From our arrival at the reception desk and during our stay all of the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. Food and service was excellent with plenty of variety.
Room was very clean and large but needs updating.
Good location in Harrogate and to the Yorkshire Dales.
We will certainly be revisiting soon.
