“Classy Little B&B!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

The Grafton is a classy little B&B situated on a leafy lane about a 5 to 10 min walk from the centre of Harrogate.

We stayed in a luxury room which was well apportioned and had a number of small nice touches.

The bathroom is small but everything is nice and well done.

Breakfast is good - although served only from 8 to 9.30am. There is a small buffet selection - fresh juice, cereals, jams, preserves, fruit and yogurt. There is also a menu choice of cooked to order breakfasts. Service is friendly.

There is a small bar downstairs which is cosy with a large selection of current magazines.

I would not hesitate in recommending this B&B.

Harrogate is a nice place to visit for a weekend and lots of restaurants and a relaxed vibe.

“An excellent place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

This is a lovely place to stay. Spotlessly clean, very polite staff and a very, very good breakfast. Is very close to Harrogate International Centre and only a short walk to the city centre. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

Room Tip: Top floor room was very quiet

“Very Chic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2012

We stayed here on a romantic break, following the excellent comments on trip advisor. Was not dissapointed, very welcoming place,Mark happily advised us on places to eat, directions etc. Perfect location,5-10mins walk from lots of lovely restaurants, bars, the shops, valley gardens etc, yet on a quiet residential street.Stayed in room 3 which is a superior large double, really comfy big bed, beautifully decorated and thoroughly clean everywhere.worth the extra we thought.Breakfast had the personal touch too,all beautifully presented and very good food! Would highly reccommend the Grafton to anyone!

“Beautiful place to stay.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

An absolute gem! Very welcoming particularly as I was a woman staying alone. Beautifully decorated and so stylish in all areas. The lounge, hallway and dining room were uber modern but classic. The breakfast was outstanding - fresh ingredients using local produce. It took me 7 minutes on a gentle stroll to walk to the centre of Harrogate - 5 minutes down the hill and I was at Harrogate Spa. Two minutes up the hill and I was at Betty's Tea Rooms.

My room was on the ground floor, king size bed, firm mattress and extremely comfortable. Feather pillows and high quality bedding. Lovely room, biscuits, hot chocolate and toffees provided as well as the usual tea and coffee. The bathroom had lots of nice toiletries provided.

All in all, I cannot find one fault - perhaps one recommendation - a little soft, low music in the lounge perhaps, but certainly not a criticism. I spent a relaxing two nights and would definitely visit again and have no hesitation in recommending The Grafton.

Thank you for a lovely stay.
