Just returned from a wonderful 2 night stay here. Very pleasant and helpful staff. We paid the extra £10 per night to upgrade to a superior room, it was No 25 at the front of the house. It was spacious, clean and had a very large comfortable bed. Bathroom very clean and excellent shower. Had the 3 course dinner in the restaurant and it was as good as any high class restaurant with brilliant and friendly service. Breakfast equally as good.
Would highly recommend this hotel.

Everything about this hotel is so inviting.
Warm friendly staff.
Large clean room with lovely decor and large white en-suite/bath and shower over.
Silver service waiter/tresses. Food Excellent for the price. Breakfast was local produce that was very tasty.
7min walk to the centre.
We parked on the road, as our car is too wide for the carpark.

Unfortunately Harrogate's old pubs have been converted into flats/pads etc leaving just a few pubs to venture.
Plenty of shops, but are spread out over a a few mile radious.

I was very impressed with this place. The staff were pleasant, efficient and professional. The bedroom was warm, comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. The cooked breakfast was one of the tastiest I've had in any hotel. As others have remarked, the location is ideal, being in a quiet residential road, but only a few minutes walk from the town centre and the enterainment venues. The fact that the hotel seemed pretty full on a bleak January day must say a lot for it.

We stayed in the Turret room in Jan 2012. The room was gorgeous - spacious, clean and well decorated. The bed was large and extremely comfortable and overall the room was well equipped - the only thing missing was a clock.
Breakfast was excellent; obviously made from local products and brought to our room right at the agreed time.
The Hotel is a very short walk into Harrogate and far enough out to be quiet.
If staying in Harrogate again I would see no reason to stay anywhere else.
