Two nights at a hotel which on the surface has all the right ingredients but sadly put together in such a way as to make the whole experience seriously unpalatable. The bathroom: cheap toilet paper, caked on dirt around the toilet seat fittings and plugs and poor lighting. Dreadful service at breakfast waiting 15 minutes to be asked to place the tea/coffee order, tables set wrongly with no spoons for drinks and being told to wait until they were brought! More than 5 minutes later two spoons arrived with a dismissive 'there you go'! At no point during breakfast on either day were all breakfast items available at the same time including sauces. The breakfast area is woefully inadequate for a hotel of this size and the staff/systems in place are clearly lacking. Having poor tv reception on the first night we enquired as to whether anything could be done and were told maintenance would be asked to sort it. We had no contact from either reception or 'maintenance' at any point. On day 2 we rescanned for channels ourselves! Provision of basic services seems to have been overshadowed by pretence at the Kimberley. 4 star? I think not.

Room 3205, an excellent spacious room, spotless throughout, lovely bathroom, real comfy bed and an excellent wall mounted tv. We arrived to red wine and chocolates, slippers and bath robes. we dined in hotel on first night and had a lovely meal reasonably priced. only low point was service of breakfast staff although the buffet breakfast itself was supberb. definitely recomend and would stay there again

We stayed for the weekend in this hotel and dined at their signitures restaurant.The food was good.The hotel was nice and we stayed in room 1103 on the front which was quite large.The hotel is in a parking zone area but yoy can get onroad street parking for free close by.We would go back as it is ideally located for the centre of Harrogate,

Stayed 2 nights on a kgb deal Sunday & Monday. Brilliant value.
Good quality hotel, we upgraded to an executive room (£20) as these are new and the spec is excellent. Hotel is good in all areas and only 10 minutes fron the shops and attractions.
Evening meal in the restaurant was very good as was the breakfast.
Highly recommended.
