The bed and breakfast is located less than a 5 minute walk from the city centre, but on a quiet road ... perfect location!

My colleague and I were on a 2 day business trip and the owners allowed us to leave our car on their premises both before and after check in. This was a great help as there was no need for us to find city centre parking, which is both difficult and costly.

To the room, a large spacious room with a comfortable double bed. A modern flat screen television, plentiful tea and coffee and a large wardrobe all present too. The room itself was very cleen and well decorated.

The bathroom had a shower cubical complete with easy to use power shower. My only dissapointment from the whole stay was the fact liquid toilet cleaner had been left in the toilet bowl and not flushed away. This is only a minor point, but something that is noticed.

In the morning, breakfast was avaliable for a good period of time and is served by friendly staff. A choice of fruit and cereal is avaliable for self service and is accompanied by a cooked option. Complements to the chef for fantastic poached eggs!

Finally, free and fast (approx 9Mb/second) wireless internet was avaliable and saves coping with mobile internet on the iPhone. The perfect extra touch for the modern bed and breakfast.

I look forward to staying again the next time I am in Peterborough.
