Right beside the high street means Whites enjoys an excellent location but is also one of the quietest hotels (in terms of external noise) of the many that I have stayed in,

The rooms are adequate and are typical 4 star rooms - nothing extra special but also nothing to complain about. Only minor complain is that the TV could do with a few more stations and particularly kids channels - with three kids in tow a TV is a must for the downtime. Also you didn't have the option to buy movies from the set, a shame as it's something the kids enjoy - also an additional revenue stream for the hotel.

We ate in the bar twice and the restaurant once - the food is excellent in both. One night in the bar our food was very late in arriving and then out desert was forgotten about - the staff are excellent and very friendly but do appear to be overworked. We ate there another night and it was perfect so maybe we were just unlucky on that particular night. For the nights we stayed had good entertainment, just a singer and a guitar but they were very good.

The pool is a great facility and with the toddlers pool it was ideal for our 2 year old, the adult pool however, was too deep for the nine year old but fine for the eleven year old. Also good underground parking available and free to residence.

Wexford is a great town with loads of independent shops - took a trip out to Hook Head lighthouse, it was worth the visit, had a tour to the top, kids and adults loved in - with a nice coffee shop to relax in. Also went to the national park which is worth a visit.

Will go back again both the hotel and the town were a joy,

stayed in whites in january, really enjoyed our stay, i had made a few room requests as i had my parents with us , every thing we requested we got, excellent breakfast and plenty of it, spotless pool area, and enjoyed the entertainment in the bar on both nights,
we will be back,

Stayed here for two nights,modern spacious hotel,bedroom looking out at sea and opera house ,we had the most stunning view of the sunrise.Central to the town , a must is a tour of the new opera house only 10 mins walk away.
Food good with great breakfast and good service. Hotel clean and bright. worth a visit
