Stayed here on a sat night recenlty. The hotel is very modern and looked great. the rooms were also more than adequate. The hotel bar was very busy . I did find the price of drink there very high and it one thing that tourists I would say pick up on. Getting stung for €5 plus for a pint bottle of cider is just too much. Considering its not more than €1 to purchase wholesale..
The front desk staff were very polite and couldn't be faulted. Breakfast was buffet style and again it was good without being great. I thought alot of the hot food was sitting too long and the sausages then ended up being tired and rubbery as did the scrambled egg.
The Irish Examiner was not available and as a soprts enthusaist I find this paper the best for local gaa coverage/ coursing/etc .It would be nice to have that paper available.Either the indo or the times is sufficent.
Charging for internet access for me is a big nono and again as it cost next to nothing to provide I would have expected a hotel of this standard not to charge.
All in all it was a pleasant stay and I would return.
