I have just come back from a 3night stay in St. Helens, I was there with my mother and my daughter {8}. YES it is very old fashioned and a bit of a musty smell in reception area but there is nothing like IRISH HOSPITALTY we are well known for our it. The staff were very pleasant and helpful anything i asked for i received with a smile, the rooms are old but you have everything you need it has the basics the cleaniness of the room was brilliant the pool is quite small the food in the restaraunt is mouthwatering i nearly licked the flowers of the plate, but for 3nights B&B and 1 evening meal €240.00 in total with supervalu getaway breaks,what else could you ask for. 7/10 plus the view of the sea from the resaurant is breathtaking.
