“Always delightful, relaxing, family experience”

Our family (in several generations) have loved our stays here over many years. I personally enjoy the art, the multiplicity of hide-away rooms to sit and read, the lovely grounds and the location right on the beach; my son says the best part is not having to wear shoes and the activities organized for kids; my father enjoys the old-fashioned service and the superb dining room for dinner. It's professionally run by a family who've been also there for generations and don't settle for anything less than perfect customer service. Didn't use the spa but heard good things from other guests. Something for everyone on a family weekend.

“Family Occassion”

We (family of 5 - 3 kids under 8) stayed as part of a relatives birthday celebrations for 2 nights and my only complaint is I wish it was for 2 weeks!!!

Starting at the bottom, the rooms aren't fantastic for the price you pay but they are clean and comfortable. We stayed in a ground floor family room.

Everything else about the hotel is perfection, the food is AMAZING, for adults & kids. Never short on choice.
The hotel is set up so that parents and kinds get a holiday. the kids can do loads of activities(golf, arts, baking, tv, pool, snooker, playstation, playground, beach, tennis disco etc) during the day and right up to about 9pm. We got a recommended babysitter who was excellent & not expensive for the evening time. My kids beg to go back all the time x

The pool is lovely & although I didnt go to the spa, some others did and all reports were good.
Cant wait to save up & go back

“Food is brilliant!”

The food is brilliant. That's the highlight of staying at this hotel. There's so much to eat at all times of the day. Being close to the beach is great to walk it off between meals! The wine list is excellent too. The staff are very friendly. The spa is very good. However, we travelled as a couple and the hotel's customers were mainly families with young children or elderly couples. We felt a bit out of place. Also, the rooms are very basic.

“Quality Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2012

We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend in October with our 15 month old son and my mother. On entering the hotel you immediately get a feeling of calm and you know you're in for a special stay. What makes this hotel so special for us was the amount of facilities available which we have never seen at any other hotel. We were so impressed with the baby room, it was so nice to have somewhere to wash and steralise bottles and have milk on tap!! There was also a cupboard full of baby food jars if you wished to use these. We didn't use these as our son eats whatever we're eating!!. A lot of thought has gone into the hotel and both the service and standard of facilities are incredible - well done to all!!

The one thing that I was disapponted with were the family rooms, they are quite large but badly in need of updating and modernising. It was lovely to be able to sit out on your patio while baby slept though. My mum had a single room which was a lot smaller more modernised but lacked a view or outside seating area.

I had been hoping that we would have been able to use the nanny cam system but it was out of service the weekend we were there. There is a babysitting service and a listening in service which you can use. We used the listeninig in service when our little boy went for a nap during the day but we would have felt more relaxed if we could have used the nanny cam as I think it's a great idea.

We ate in all the restaurants and found the food excellent. We didn't get to use the spa but did buy a good few products to take home with us which are amazing!! If we come again we will definately use the spa as it looks very impressive.

Overall a great hotel bursting with facilities for both couples and families.

Thank you for your lovely review on Trip Advisor. We appreciate your comments regarding the food and other facilities in the Hotel

You will be delighted to hear that during our winter break we have refurbished all the family rooms introducing a few modern features to make your stay even more enjoyable. The nannycam was causing a lot problems last year, this was only a new system so there were a lot of teething problems. As this is vital to have right we thought it safer to have it out of action and have the company rectify all the issues in the interest of safety, which I hope you can appreciate. However, we hope to have back in action for 2012.

I do hope we will have the pleasure of your company again this year, as always we look forward to wecloming you back.

With agood wishes.

“A great one night get away.”

A fantastic way to catch up with your friends or family with a great one night get away in Kellys. Amazing food, great wine list, fantastic breakfast and the walk on to the beach is just the icing on the cake. Delighted they are now doing one night breaks, even though it will definitely be two nights next time. Can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: A seaview room would be an added bonus, available I am sure on request.
