I had some extremely nice days there. The welcome was very warm, the breakfast quite good and Wendy and Jim tried to make their guests feel very comfortable all the time. The way to the city centre is quite easy, so you can go there by bus very quickly whenever you want. Montana offers private parking in case you bring a car with you. I'm sure I can say: "Should I come back to Southampton one day, I will try to go there again. Thank you!

As a Sotonian living in exile (Bristol) there are relatives, friends, St Mary's Stadium (football) and the Rose Bowl (cricket) to visit that brings me regularly to the City of Southampton. I have been staying at the Montana Guest House for the last four years and greatly value the warmth of welcome and efficient, clean and comfortable hospitality that Wendy and Jim provide.

During my stay I have met a whole variety of guests; from people on business, sports fans, cruise guests (with parking available) and people visiting for family occasions.

The guest house is conveniently situated close to the M27 motorway and within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants. Plenty of on-site parking is also available with vehicles slotted in to allow early leavers access with little disruption. Freshly cooked breakfasts are available from 6.30am and Wendy and Jim even offers packed lunches for very early starters.

When there has not been a vacancy at Montana Guest House Wendy and Jim usually are able to link up with a bed and breakfast facility in the area; successful stays for me there also.

The visitor book records the gratitude of many visitors from many lands; noticeable are the nemerous repeat visits.
