I am sorry to say how disappointed I was with my stay in the Fitzwilton as I had heard only good things before arriving. Our room was very small and cramped and not fitting of a four star hotel.
Like most who are staying in a hotel, I was really looking forward to a relaxing bath but was disappointed to find that at half six on a Saturday night there was barely enough water for a tepid shower let alone a bath. The girl on reception advised me to wait awhile and the manager would reset the boiler. The water temperature never increased.
The television reception in our room was barely watchable, not a big deal really but worth mentioning.
The biggest problem for me though was the fact that our window did not open, as I stated earlier our room was very small and the fact that the window did not open made the heat in the room uncomfortably warm and unfortunately for me made it impossible to sleep.
On a positive note the location is ideal and all the Staff members from the bar to reception were very helpful and polite
