Clean , tidy and functional hotel. Its a business hotel and not suitable for families because its outside the city surrounded by industrial estates , garages , main roads and a motorway.
For me it was ideal place for business, the food was good and the staff helpful and right besides the motorwat to dublin or Cork.
The verdict ? a fine business hotel and I would stay there again.
A downside ? some of the TV channels were not working ! thats it.

I have never stayed in the Ramada but I go there a bit for food. All the food is lovely and the staff are really nice. It is also a nice to have dinner and then get one of there complementary newspapers.

They need to redo their website. It seemed to indicate room + B&B was €55 while room-only was €35. As it was the best location for my business trip I decided to book room-only and find someplace for breakfast. I was then offered breakfast for €10 per day extra! Getting a double room to myself I thought this was great value. And it was! The buffet breakfast was first class as was the bar food in the evenings. The free Wifi signal was poor in my room but I had cables and hooked up to the broadband outlet in the room. Staff were first class: I left my car keys in the bar and wasn't back in my room 2 minutes before they phoned me having found them before I knew I'd misplaced them. At night, be careful trying to locate the turn in.... there are so many car showrooms that the Hotel Sign can't compete and gets lost in the glare! No road noise. Too far to walk into the city. I didn't explore bus options etc. I asked for a non-smoking room on the internet and got one.

Nice bar area serving non fussy but good quality food. Hotel staff very friendly.
Rooms, well my room anyway, didnt check them all :-), was of a good size and free wifi signal was good.
A bit too far if you are looking to walk into Waterford but just a few minutes in a car.
Will definitely be staying there again.
