Three college kids with not much money but not fond of hostels.......this was over the top nice! The staff was really nice and Waterford is surprisingly small so the location was nice...we got off our bus from Dublin and the hotel was literally across the street. :) God was looking out for us.....rooms were very clean and very very very spacious (at least our double and a single was).........highly recommend.

We spent a night at Dooley's and found everything to our liking...fast checkin, clean room, nice food in the resturant, both at dinner and for breakfast.
car parking over the road was no problem and we could see the car park from our room anyway. Waterford was small enough that we could walk wherever we wanted to go and then it was a short drive to the all important Watefrford Crsytal factory next morning.
Even though there were a couple of bus tour groups staying, we were not bothered with noise...one problem was the rather ancient lift, but if it meant not carrying bags up and down stairs, it was heaven.

This hotel has an excellent city centre location. I wasn't expecting much from the rooms but they were actually very nice. Very comfy beds and spotlessly clean. I stayed there twice recently. In Septebmer, I had a room on the third floor and no complaints. I stayed again last weekend and had a room on the first floor. It was fine but the toilet didn't flush very well. Breakfast was ok but I would only recommend it if you got a good deal for b&b; it's not worth spending too much extra on it.

My family reside in Ferrybank and my husband took me to Waterford as a surprise for my 60th birthday.We have visited Waterford many times , but have never stayed at Dooley's before.We found the staff excellent and could not do enough to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable The room was spotlessly clean,comfortable and very spacious.Breakfast was excellent and the bar food menu had something for everyone's taste.We would come to Dooley.s again for sure.

This hotel is in a good position, near the city center and not far from the train station.
However my experience was really bad. I arrived and asked explicitly for a room with Internet, they gives me a room where the wireless was not working. I asked to change room, and I was told that there was the last one and that they was not able to refund me. Only after my insistence I spoke with a manager and they moved me in an other room. The breakfast was ok.
