My family and I stayed one night at Brown's Townhouse in July 2006. We booked at Brown's by default, since most of the better places were totally booked for the Friday night that we were there. We stayed in the "Pink Suite" which is on the second floor rear. It was two small rooms with a bath in between. The bedroom was rather cramped, very little room to move around the bed. The bed itself was soft and lumpy and sloped. The sitting room had a fold-out bed and was made up for my teenage son. There was little room to move in there either. The furnishings were eclectic to say the least, the only place to sit in my son's room was a bar stool. The ensuite bath was adequate with a good shower. The lady who ran the place was quite charming and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was very good. My son was looking forward to the much publicized pancakes, but since no buttermilk was available, French Toast was made instead. There is very limited parking (2 cars) in the forecourt. We came back late after dinner and had to park on the street. Overall, it was clean but rather basic. I thought it to be overpriced at 140 Euro.
