Spend a night there recently. The hotel is neat and the staff, as in most of Ireland, friendly and helpful. Was a bit disappointed that the restaurant was closed the evening since it was out of season although the lift and lobby had adds for dinner etc.. Breakfast was good and worth the money though. The hotel is situated quite centrally and close to the major attractions such as the Waterford Crystal factory. Several nice pubs and restaurants within walking distance although the pub in the hotel is quite nice as well.
The only complaint I had was that although the rooms are marked smoke free, our room really smelled of old smoke.. not very pleasant.
