Enjoyed a very pleasant Golden Age Break for a birthday treat with an aged mother. It was excellent value and can recommend if you are looking for a relaxing break. Food was very good and hotel, though being used for large weddings during stay, was quiet and restful. Very handy for touring Sligo area.

I had a mixed experience in the Sligo Park Hotel. The Hotel itself is in two halfs..One side old, one side new. The old part being the rooms. I somehow managed to lock the bathroom door from the inside...outside.
The staff couldn't do anymore and were incredibly friendly. I was at a function however the food was okay but nothing fantastic and the function room itself was a bit on the grubby side, especially the function room toilets that weren't looked after at all.
However the Leisure centre, that being the new part of the hotel was top class. I could not fault it one bit.

After reading reviews, I booked a short break in the Sligo Park Hotel for 2 nights after new years. The Hotel is warm and friendly with a relaxed atmosphere. Our family room was a modern, bright, spacious and clean. The beds are super comfortable, with one large double and two singles. Ensuite facilities clean and modern, although slightly put off by stains on the grout around the toilet (come to your own conclusions) and the hair dryer had seen better days. Tea/coffee, iron/board, flat screen tv & dvd player. We overlooked the tennis court so it was quiet at night. The leisure centre is great with good sized pools, jacuzzi, sauna etc. Changing and shower areas are spotless. The centre is well staffed and very friendly. Dined in the bar/carvery menu on one evening. Fresh and wholesome and they catered for kids portions for all the main dishes. Didn't dine in the main restaurant but the breakfast buffet was very good. Plenty of choice and fresh. The dining room is a little dated, but service was excellent. The hotel is located just outside the town, only 5 mins drive to the main shopping area. The most redeeming quality of this hotel is the staff. They are friendly and professional, everyone says hello. Due to the bad weather/storms, we spent most of our time in the hotel. It was relaxing and our children were made feel very welcome by all. Thumbs up for a short stay!

I said in the Sligo Park hotel in December past. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The leisure facilties are a big selling point of the hotel. There is a jacuzzi,steam room, sauna and gym. My room was very clean and comfy. I will definitely be back!!!
