I have stayed in this guest house on 3 occasions, and I have to say the location is great so handy for town centre and hotels. The proprietors are so helpful although they do make you say what you want for breakfast when you check in but for those of us who got up for it the breakfast was fantastic. For those of us who didn’t manage to get up in time the owners insisted they ate and drank something before we all left. It really felt like a home away from home. The rooms are lovely and comfortable too.

We are on our last day here in this lovely Guesthouse and some of its special qualities are the use of their computer in the large and elegant dining room (as we forgot our ipad) and I had to answer some business emails and also the location ,we did not use our car once and we were here for three days for our winter break. This is our first time here but not our last, thank you all in this wonderful house.

Proprietor Sadie & John Moran. What a wonderful place to stay. Great old house right on the Mall (small roads on either side of the River Carrowberg) and a short walk around the corner to the centre of town. We had the top floor family room. One double and two single beds. Huge bathroom, nice dormer windows. Bright & cheerful colours. House and lounge full of interesting items to look at. Warm and welcoming ladies. We asked if she had any pets to meet as most will have a dog or cat. She had lots Sadie said and then brought 'round Paddie and P.J. (pair of ducks she brought in to meet us! What great fun)

We only stayed the one night in Westport, but this was definitly the best B&B we stayed at. We were put in the large attic room. which was great for us as we had to get ready for a Wedding the next day. They also let us have a late check out due to the Wedding as well. The owners were very friendly and accomodating, the breakfast was really nice, the building is nice and interesting and the location is great. There is only on street parking to the front, but we had no problems getting a spot (arriving after 6). Highly recommended.
