This hotel is situated perfectly for the town of Westport. I recently took a group of elderly clients for a weeks stay on the 'Golden Years' package. You couldn't ask for more - top rate service, lots of activities, spotlessly clean and well appointed rooms, excellent food and much more. This was our second trip to this hotel and it certainly won't be our last. Well done to all the staff and thank you for looking after us so well.

I was a bit disappointed in our room as the reviews on trip advisor were quite good. The hotel seemed pretty full and our reservation was rather last minute so I'm guessing they gave us what was left. Still, it was down a long dim hallway with racks of tablecloths parked in the end of the hall. The room was large but the furniture had definitely seen better days. It was quite scratched up and didn't leave a great impression. I Dont believe we even had a flat screen tv which in this day and age seems to be the norm when traveling. Most of the staff were friendly and aimed to please except for one surly desk clerk who was rather rude. Breakfast was included and had the usual fare as well as buffet options. Not bad. The bar looked quite lively though the average age there seemed to be about 70. We didn't spend any time there so I can't really say more than that. Hotel room was fairly clean in spite of its ragged appearance.

Stayed for a short break recently. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. No noise at night. Food was lovely and the staff were very helpful in every department. Arrived early and got a room upgrade for free! In a central location and has bicycle parking indoors and in the carpark which was useful to me. Leisure centre was great and the facilities are first class.

Would definately recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Westport.

stayed there on five occasion and also booked in two large groups, excellent place to stay, food was top class, receptionist and staff extremely helpful!! was there for xmas party and weddings everything was 100%!! would highly recommend this Hotel!!!!!
