“Great place to stay, nice people”

We arrived after dark, in the snow. The owners graciously advised us places to walk to for dinner. We chose to stay in and eat things we had with us. He had been a master chef, so our breakfast was wonderful. We were only here one night, the next morning off to Bunratty Castle (10 - 15 easy minutes drive) and then on to Dublin to return home. They are very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well decorated, with new shower and updated bathroom. We would stay here again if ever in Limerick.

“nice people”

We stayed in 8 B&Bs over a 10 day period. Our experience at Armada was among the most personal. We took the time to talk to the owners and found out so much more about the area and about them than just treating them as hotel managers. The house was not the fanciest place we stayed but the owners made it the most relaxing. It is easy to find, close to city center, same road as Bunratty and Shannon airport. We ended up staying at this house for 2 nights before we flew home. Key is to not be snooty and spoiled and relax and take things as they are in Ireland!

Small room, old worn beds, doesn’t look clean. Small shower didn’t drain requiring to stand outside it.
