We stayed for one night in the Almeda B&B. When we were brought into the room there was a smell of must, however the room was grand and modern and had everything we needed. We didnt notice the smell after a while!
A little word of warning however for those guests that may be a bit on the heavy side or are above average height! The bathroom walls were just a little wider than the width of the toilet so if you had long legs you may have to find somewhere to put them while using the loo!
We were only in the room 2 minutes and the owner asked us for the payment up front quite abruptly. She asked us what we wanted for breakfast and what time we wanted breakfast and I asked her what time was the latest we could get it and she said 9.30am. As we were going out that night I asked if we could have it any later and she said no, 9.30am was the latest! Fair enough I suppose but I thought she could have swayed a little!
When we went down for breakfast the next morning, I asked if I would be able to get poached or scrambled eggs with my fry and she said she would check if the eggs were on already ,eventhough we had just arrived into the breakfast room! Low and behold she came back and said they couldnt do it because the eggs were already on!! When the breakfast did come it was pretty greasy!
The accommodation was fine and it was fairly good value for money but I wouldnt be rushing back!
