My wife and I had our wedding reception at the The Strand on the 16th of December last. Where do I start. We chose the City View Suite as we had 100 guests. It proved to be the perfect choice. For the time of year the lights outside framed with the night time lights of the city made for a picture perfect setting.
I'd like to extend a whole hearted thank you to the GM-Sean, our wedding planner-Carly, banqueting manager-Sebastian and of course head chef-Tom. Our families and friends who attended are still talking about the great welcome, food and all round great show you put on for us for the three days we stayed with you around the wedding in December. You have a great team with what I can only describe as that hospitality X factor.
My parents came up to visit us last weekend and nearly booked in for the weekend. Unfortunately they had to stay with us but maybe some time soon they will be back to stay with you.

Have stayed in this hotel on several occasions and could never fault this hotel. The rooms are modern clean and spacious. Has a great leisure facilities and the has entainment on during the evening. Breakfast is excellent and the service very good.

From the instant we arrived we were greeted curtiously and professionally. The room was large, spotless and what a view over the city and river. The bar had evening entertainment which was surprisingly quite good ( a young band ) and service was prompt. Breakfast was hot, fresh and tasty and the location could not be better, 2 min walk to main shopping and tourist area.Staff marvellous. Would highly recommend this hotel and I will be back

We stayed on an An Post travel deal €99.00 per person for two nights B & B. I went with my Mum. This was the second time I stayed in the Hotel. The first time was 13th February and I had a great time. This time was even better. We got a taxi to the hotel as it was lashing at the time. The staff were lovely and arranged our booking for the restaurant. The meal was lovely and the waiter was very helpful. As the hotel was very near the city centre, we were able to come back and forth as we pleased. Even JLS were staying in the hotel and had the pleasure of seeing them on the Sunday before we headed home. They were performing in Thomond Park that night. We had a great tour around Limerick, went on the open top bus. Would recommend you and would love to come to Limerick again and stay in the Strand.
