Brought our hurling team here for the weekend and had a ball, nice food, friendly staff and very reasonable rates. All in, an excellent deal

We stayed two nights in this hotel on my sisters hen party. The hen package that we got was outstanding, it included 2 nights B & B, 4 course evening meal, a glass of bubbly, a cocktail and free entry into the Sin Bin nightclub where we also got a free shot. We booked the penthouse suite for the Friday night which was absolutely fantastic. There was no issue with the noise level and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Clohessys Bar & Niteclub is only a 7 minute walk away (in heels) so is ideal and the manager there was also fantastic to us. I would especially like to thank Mary-Claire (the reservations manager in the Clarion Limk) and Ian (our bar man on the Saturday)

We stayed one night as we were attending a birthday party at Dolan's which was a five minute walk away, so a great location for us. We were met by an efficient and very friendly receptionist. The room was clean, comfortable and very quiet; a good size too. As we were on the thirteenth floor we had great views over the Shannon. The breakfast was very good with a variety of choices, we paid an extra E10 but was well worth it; also the car parking, which was just across the road, was an extra E8.50. Would definitely stay here again if we were in Limerick.

I stayed at the Clarion Limerick on a business trip, and there were three of us who checked in at the same time. The check-in experience left a lot to be desired, as also the challenge of getting a meal before the restaurant closed. Maybe the receptionist was having a bad day - but we could not get a smile during the entire stay.
