I went to Clifton House to see my bf who is working there at the moment, and returned today...

MIcheal and Mary were fantastic and made my stay very welcoming, to the point I didn't want to go.

The rooms are clean and comfy, and the beds got made every morning of my stay.

Due to my BF being in limerick, I will be spending many a weekend there to, and can't wait to be back to the welcoming atmosphere that is the Clifton House.

It wasn't our first time staying at Clifton House. Whenever we visit Ireland and particularly the Shannon Region, we like to stay there. It's cozy atmosphere and welcoming owners make it a wonderful place to rest our heads. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Tea and coffee and some continuously replenished "biscuits" (cookies) are always available to you in the wonderful guest living room. The house is old and has a manor type feel to it. It has become our home away from home when we have to travel. Beats any Limerick hotel hands down.
