Spent a couple of nights at the Alexandra. Stayed in a single room, without the ensuite bath. It fronted on the road and was quite noisy from the traffic. I had been quoted a price of 30 euros but at checkout the proprietor wanted 35 per night - which I paid. It worked well for me as it was within a rational walking distance of town and many of the Angela's Ashes locales. It needs updating.
