Won a one night stay here with spa treatments and dinner. It was all fab we will be back!! The food was terrific we had dinner and breakfast. The staff were all really friendly. Can't recommend this place enough

We paid EUR 70 for a double room and it was comfortable.
The whole hotel is getting a bit dated throughout now and could do with a make over.
Breakfast is very good.
Staff were friendly and helpful to us.
Overall good value at this price and I would recommend it.
Perfect if you need to go to Limerick University as it is literally at the front gates.

Second stay at this hotel and its ideal for what I need. Handy location for Unversity and
although as previous reviews state it is a little bit dated the service and food are good.

There is a small but well equipped gym.

There is free wifi for guests via bitbuzz which theses days is exected in a hotel however it is a bit un predictable.

The hot water in the shower is very hot and it is difficult to get the right temperature.

All in all though, good value for a business trip.

Myself, my wife and our three year old daughter stayed for a weekend in mid December. Our room was spacious but the aluminium windows led to considerable condensation and adjusting the shower to an acceptable temperature was an art form. We were also disappointed that the pool was closed to children until 10.30 am in the morning, just when little ones like to swim. However the restaurant was excellent, staff were friendly, efficient and really child friendly. Thanks in particular to Aeifa who was great. Our dinner on the first night was really good value, crab followed by a great steak, both locally sourced. Breakfast on both mornings was beyond criticism, everything you could wish for including the best mushrooms I've tasted for a long time.
