There once was a hotel in Limerick,
"Nice" said hotels.com, but it was just a trick,
it was run-down and old,
And had plenty of mold,
From which we just hope now we won't get sick.

Me, my husband and two friends have just returned from the two mile inn after a diabollical ospreys match against munster. After reading the reviews about the two mile inn, I thought we were visting a hell hole, but I was pleasantly surprised! The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and the food next door at the steak house was lovely. Transport was laid on to and from the game at 3 euros each. Apart from the rugby match we had a pleasant stay. We paid for a 3* hotel and had a 3* hotel!

DO NOT STAY THERE!!!
My husband and I stayed at Two Mile Inn on Munster& Leinster game like many others supporters of both teams. Had mixed feelings about booking this hotel, but couldn’t find anything else night before it in limerick so decided to go ahead with it.
The hotel is vey basic and poor. Rooms are small and dirty! Stained marks on the carpet, burnt marks on the furniture (booked non-smoking room!!!) Beds are small and mattress was vey uncomfortable. Bathroom was absolutely dirty!!! Had to call reception in the morning!!!!
After the match we came back to the hotel to find out that bar & restaurant beside the hotel were closed (10pm). Went to the hotel to the resident bar – no music, no finger food, very depressing! Drove to Limerick City to get something to eat, on the way back we stopped in the other hotel with a lively bar with live music, we could actually see over there it was no problem to get a snack or finger food.
After all came back to The Two Mile Inn, met other supporters, who came back to the hotel to the Resident Bar, but they couldn’t get any drink as this Resident Bar was closed at 1am!!!
Regarding breakfast – had to wait 10 min to toast our bread (queue) and then hurry to get some hot food, because it seemed to disappearing within seconds!!
Couldn’t wait to leave this dark and unpleasant place!!! My question is : Is this a Hotel or Hotel –Hostel????? We paid €99.00 for NIGHT, no breakfast included!!! Never ever again!!! ONCE AGAIN DO NOT STAY THERE!!!

Stayed here for 1 night (€69) on the night of the Munster v Sale Sharks match. I had a large, clean double room which was comfortable. There was a little noise during the night but what do you expect when practically all residents are rugby supporters!
Breakfast @ €7.50 extra was good.
It's not the Ritz Carlton but was a nice room at a good price. Would stay again, if in the area.
