“Friendly B&B at a great price”

The Carnlea House is run by a wonderful older couple who serve a traditional irish breakfast. The guest accomodations are located in a separate part of the house with a sitting room just for guests so it is private but homey. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are nice, en suite. The room decor is dated but everything is very clean and well kept. It is conveniently located if you have a car and is close the the Shannon airport but not too close! The Carlea is not within walking distance of pubs or a town but it's right between Limerick City and Patrickswell. Patrickswell is a small village with 3 pubs full of local people. We thought the Geary's were perfect hosts. Willing to help but never pushy and they make a great breakfast, if you like ham and sausages! Tele ----
