We stayed for four nights in September, 2011. Helen greeted us with a cup of tea and made us feel very welcome.
Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
Helen & Liam gave us great ideas for sightseeing in the area and suggested pubs and restaurants that would fit our needs.
A very special extra favor- Liam went with me to a local mechanic when we needed to have
a rproblem with our rental car checked out.
For a convenient and comfortable place to stay in Kilkenny, Pinecrest is at the top of our list.

Pinecrest was our first stop on our trip and everything was excellent. Our room was spacious and the Irish breakfasts terrific. The location was very convenient for walking into town. The host and hostess were welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed a large, clean room with a modern bathroom en suite, and an excellent "full Irish" breakfast. The B&B is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet only a ten minute walk to the charming town of Kilkenny, and the price was reasonable. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this B&B!!

This b&b definitely ticks all the boxes. The hosts are warm and friendly- very approachable if you've any questions or queries. The rooms are large and clean, far more spacious than b&b's I've been in before. The b&b itself is just under a 10min walk from the town yet is in a quiet area. The breakfast was excellent. Really couldn't fault my stay at all, thoroughly enjoyed it! Thanks Helen and Liam!
