I was visiting cousins in the Kilkenny area when I booked my two night stay at the Butler Court. I was very pleased with the room, bathroom and whole setting of this well maintained establishment. The owners were very pleasant and I had a very satisfied stay at this secure, quiet and very clean residence. I stayed there on 14 and 15 january 2012.

I complemented John (the owner) on the fine craftsmanship that was very evident in his work and upkeep. I would not hesitate to stay here again and bring the wife this time. Thanks Yvone for the nice reception and delicious scones. Fine work, John.

Very nice establishment! The price was good, the owners were very friendly and helpful, location was great (everything was within walking distance), and clean, spacious rooms. The owners provided us with continental breakfast in our mini fridge, which had quite a variety of options. It was nice to be able to make coffee in the morning that wasn't the instant kind!

We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in Kilkenny!

Wonderful place to stay. Yvonne & John Dalton were very helpful and welcoming! Bob the dog was a pleasure. Sitting in the lovely courtyard was so relaxing. Easy walk from here to any of the attractions to see in town. It was great to have the parkade to put our car in during our stay. Although the breakfast was continental in the room, it was very nice and really a nice change from a heavy sit down breakfast.

We arrived without any booking; the owner showed us around and gave us our room. Rooms are spacious and comfy, and bathrooms are clean. Free wifi was also available. The owner even paid for parking! The B&B does not provide a cooked breakfast, however the continental breakfast is fresh and filling and more than enough. The location is excellent; 2 minutes away from the pubs but not close enough to hear any noise.
