Hillgrove is wonderful, with a charming hostess, Margaret. She made us feel like old friends. The house is beautiful, the setting is beautiful, the room was good size and comfortable. Margaret was very easy to deal with via email, and gave helpful information once we were there. When we checked out, we mentioned we wanted to see some pottery, and she directed us to the Nicholas Mosse factory down the road. As we were getting out of the car at the factory, Margaret's husband drove up. Seems my friend had left her Kindle in the room, and he took the trouble to bring it to her. Can't beat hospitality like that.
