Kilkenny and our stay at the Dunboy were the highlight of our trip to Ireland. Helen was very welcoming (even when we showed up early) and friendly, and was a great help in giving us directions to local attractions. Our room was spotlessly clean and well-decorated, and the breakfasts were the best we had during our trip, with homemade breads and scones and good coffee. The B&B is about a 15-minute walk from the center of town, or shorter, obviously, if you have a car--not a problem for us, but something to keep in mind. I highly recommend the Dunboy.

Helen, the owner, was the nicest B and B hostess we had during our 2 week trip to Ireland. The room was clean and comfortable. We were served a delicious full Irish breakfast. I highy recommend this B and B to anyone visiting Kilkenny.

Helen was just the best host for our overnight in Kilkenny. She has been at this for 20 years and is a pro. She had us stodgy old Americans in stitches.

Delightful B and B located less than 5 minute drive from Kilkenny city centre. This house has a lovely homely atmosphere, is spotlessy clean and is run by a kind, cheerful and very helpful hostess who will go the extra mile to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Guaranteed a good night's sleep as the house is situated off the main Freshford Road. Provides a delicious breakfast and will cater to your dietary needs. A must visit!
