Okay, I read the reviews. Yes it is a old house with small rooms that might need some modernization and a little costly for what it offered. But is was adequate and I am not hanging around the B&B all day when I stay. It was the only place available for the weekend we stayed because of a concert in Kilkenny that Saturday. The lady was a little short when she talked, but that does not make her rude. When we left she gave us the best directions to get to Limerick. The parking was small and there was not a back yard to speak of. And I enjoyed the traffic and it did not keep us from sleeping. On Saturday night we sat on the wall and drank beer while we talked to the people walking by from the concert. A cemetery was across the street with Celtic Crosses and some large flat tombstones dating back to 1776. It is right out of the town center and everything was close. I probably would not stay there again unless I had no choice, but it was not terrible as others would lead you to believe.
