This is more of a restaurant with rooms than a full blown hotel. That means the food is top notch, but not particularily cheap, but it has the look and feel of a restaurant that says "quality".

I think it'd be a great place to stay and eat if you wanted to impress.

The breakfast in the little cafe at the front was one of the best I've had anywhere. different types of fresh soda bread, espresso coffee, freshly squeezed juices... All make you hop out of bed early - even after a heavy Kilkenny night out!

Very nice boutique hotel with small deli-bakery and an especially nice fine dining restaurant (our best meal in Ireland and one of the best meals we've ever enjoyed) Staff was helpful, bathrooms were clean, linens fresh and wireless worked with no problem. I left my favorite sweater behind and they kindly forwarded it to me. Parking is in the back and you have to be buzzed in, which did not end up being a problem, especially since it provided for off-street parking. Would recommend this hotel for your stay in Kilkenny.

I've been to Kilkenny loads of times over the years and had never heard of this hotel, which is a real pity for me!! The location is excellent; right in the middle of Kilkenny city, with free parking for residents. The room was nicely decorated but a bit smaller than I had expected. I had got the last available room - friends in the same hotel had a much bigger one, so thats the luck of the draw. Check in was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good and was served in the hotel cafe, which is also open to the public.

Throughout my short stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant served me the best meal I'd had in quite some time so its definitely worth having dinner there. Both the restaurant and the hotel itself are busy, so its worth booking both your room and your table in advance. Very good value - this place is highly recommended.

We arrived in Kilkenny by train from Dublin without a place to stay. The Tourist Information office gave us several choices from which we selected the Zuni Hotel. Fabulous choice. the hotel has a great central location. We had a wonderful room that was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful with local information. For our included breakfast we had some choices and selected the traditional Irish breakfast that was outstanding and a great start to our day in town. This is a jewel!
